Overview
One of the most useful exercises to do with students is to have THEM start thinking like the testmakers. This exercise, in which students write a selection of AP-style multiple-choice questions, can be done individually or as part of a group, and some suggestions for how to do that are included here.
NOTE: The exercise here was designed for AP LIT, not AP Lang. However, the fundamental principles remain nearly the same.
